HIPfolio has two types of visitor and your advertising can be tailored for either or both of those very distinct target markets. We do not accept advertising from Home Information Pack providers or other related businesses - this would create a conflict of interest and our no. 1 priority has always been to provide an independent and safe portal for HIP providers to share their HIPs.

You can choose to advertise in the 'white' section only which is typically accessed by the following:
property sellers and potential buyers
estate agents and
conveyancing solicitors.

This market will be particularly interested in services such as:
home removals & packing services
storage services
home insurance
home utilities (gas, electric, telephone, broadband)
decorating, DIY and home 'make-over' services
furniture & soft furnishings
etc.

Property & industry professionals ...
By advertising in the 'blue' section, you will be reaching industry professionals such as:
Independent Home Information Pack providers
Domestic Energy Assessors and Home Inspectors
Independent Search Providers
Solicitors and estate agents providing HIPs.

Can I choose who I advertise to?
Yes, you can choose to advertise to either the 'white' or 'blue' section only or you can opt to advertise across all of HIPfolio.

What format is the advert file?
You need to supply your advert as a .gif file - either static or animated - 420 x 100 pixels.

What statistics can I get for my advertising?
At the end of each advertising campaign, we will send you a report on total views and how many times your ad was clicked on. You can also request an interim report at any time and we will let you know how many views/clicks you've received since the campaign started.

How much is it?
Advertising rates are based on CPM (cost per thousand) views: £12 per 1000 views (minimum order: 5000 views)

How often will my ad appear?
The adverts are set to appear randomly but within the specific section requested. Due to the relatively low, but highly targeted, number of page views we receive, we will limit the number of adverts running at any one time so that your advert will receive a good level of exposure. For that reason, you are advised to book your advertisement as soon as possible as places will be limited.

How long will it take to get 1000 views?
Currently, HIPfolio averages 1000-1500 sessions per week. Obviously, this will depend on seasonal variations inherent with the property market. These figures might appear low compared to other websites but, due to the nature of HIPfolio, they are highly targeted and genuine viewers - there will be very few visitors to HIPfolio who are simply browsing the internet.
